Wedding photo sharing in Kenya

Every photo your guests take, in one place, the same day.

Moment.co.ke is a wedding guestbook for Kenyan celebrations. Guests scan a QR code on their table and add photos, short videos and a message from their phone browser, with no app and no account. Everything appears on your live wall as it arrives, and you can download the whole collection for Ksh 400 with M-Pesa.

Why it matters

Better than a WhatsApp group.

Photos end up everywhere

Most wedding photos end up scattered. Some are in the family WhatsApp group, compressed and blurry. Some stay on a cousin's phone in Mombasa. Some are in a Google Photos album that half the guests couldn't open because they don't use a Google account.

Your photographer's gallery arrives weeks later and, however beautiful, shows the day from one side of the room.

The guests' side of the story, together

Moment.co.ke collects what your guests see: the selfie with the bride's grandmother, the dance-floor video, the blessing written by an uncle who travelled from upcountry. All of it lands in one guestbook and stays together.

On the wedding day

How it works, step by step.

1. Create your event

It's free and takes about a minute. Add your names and the wedding date.

2. Print your QR code

Download ready-made table cards, a stand insert or an entrance sign from your dashboard. Put one on every table, at the entrance and by the gift table.

3. Ask your MC to mention it once

For example: “Scan the code on your table and add your photos, videos and a note for the couple.”

4. Open the live wall

Put it on the projector or TV at the reception. Guests see their photos appear moments after they share them, which gets the rest of the room sharing.

5. Download everything

For Ksh 400 with M-Pesa you get one ZIP file with every photo, every video and a printable PDF of every guest message. Photos and videos are sorted into a folder for each guest.

Made for Kenyan weddings

Built for the way we celebrate.

Works on slow networks

Photos are compressed on the guest's phone before they upload, which saves data on busy venue networks. If a connection drops, tapping share again finishes the same post instead of creating a duplicate.

Pay with M-Pesa

One payment of Ksh 400 per event, approved on your phone with your M-Pesa PIN. No card, no dollars, no subscription.

For every part of the celebration

Create one event for the ruracio and another for the church wedding and reception, each with its own QR code.

Help on the day

Invite up to five co-hosts, such as a sibling or your planner, to help manage the guestbook while you enjoy the day.

Private by default

Your guestbook is only reachable through your link or QR code, and event pages are hidden from search engines.

Good to know

What guests share, and for how long.

What guests can share

Guests can share as many photos as they like, videos up to 100 MB each (roughly one to two minutes of phone video), and written messages of up to 300 characters. A name is optional.

How long your photos are kept

Guests can keep sharing until the end of the seventh day after the wedding, which is often when relatives send the photos they took on the way home. Photos and videos are kept until then, so download your collection before that date; your dashboard shows the exact day.

After that, photos and videos are deleted to keep Moment.co.ke fast and affordable. Written messages stay in your dashboard.

Questions couples ask

Frequently asked questions.

Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and Moment.co.ke opens in their browser. It works on Android and iPhone.
How much does it cost?
Creating an event, collecting photos, videos and messages, and showing the live wall are free. Downloading everything in one file costs Ksh 400 per event, paid with M-Pesa.
Can guests share videos of the first dance?
Yes. Guests can share videos up to 100 MB each, which is roughly one to two minutes of phone video.
Does it replace our photographer?
No. Your photographer captures the day professionally. Moment.co.ke collects what your guests see from their side of the room, and the two collections sit happily side by side.
What happens to our photos after the wedding?
Photos and videos are kept until the end of the seventh day after the wedding. Download your collection before then. Written messages stay in your dashboard.
Can family who couldn't attend see the photos?
Yes. Turn on the view-only album link from your dashboard. You can add a passcode and an end date, and choose to show only your highlights.
